Weimar, July 10, 2026 – A motorcyclist sustained minor injuries in a right-of-way accident at an intersection in Weimar on Thursday morning. The collision resulted in property damage to both vehicles involved.
Apolda, July 10, 2026 – A serious traffic accident occurred yesterday afternoon on Adolf-Aber-Straße in Apolda. For reasons yet to be determined, a female driver veered into oncoming traffic and collided with another vehicle.
Apolda/Teufelstal (08.07.2026) – A circus semi-trailer truck struck a traffic light system in the Apolda city area and subsequently fled the scene. The heavy vehicle was only stopped on the Autobahn 4.
Jena, July 7, 2026 – A traffic accident occurred on Monday morning in Karl-Liebknecht-Straße, resulting in minor injuries to a cyclist.
On Monday afternoon, a public bus collided with a traffic sign in Reinstädt. No injuries were reported.
Apolda/Teufelstal, July 7, 2026 – Following an accident at an intersection in Apolda, a semi-truck fled via the Bundesstraße 87 and the Autobahn 4 on Monday. Police were eventually able to stop the vehicle at the Teufelstal rest area and have initiated an investigation for hit-and-run.
A rear-end collision involving three vehicles caused a 30-minute full closure of the Jagdbergtunnel on the A4 motorway towards Dresden on Tuesday. Fortunately, no one was injured.
Laasdorf/Jena, 05.07.2026 – A serious accident occurred in Laasdorf on Saturday night, resulting in injuries to a 65-year-old driver. The unsecured vehicle rolled away on a slope and trapped the man.
Laasdorf/Jena, July 5, 2026 – A 65-year-old man sustained leg injuries in an accident in Laasdorf in the Saale-Holzland-Kreis district. He had forgotten to secure his vehicle against rolling away.
A cyclist was involved in a collision in Wagnergasse, Jena. Despite falling onto the asphalt, a helmet prevented serious head injuries.
