Apolda, 06.07.2026 – On Saturday evening, a dispute on Leutloffstraße in Apolda escalated, resulting in a 48-year-old man being pushed from a balcony. Police suspect a personal family-related background as the trigger for the altercation.
Apolda, July 5, 2026 – Following a serious knife attack on Friday evening in Apolda, a 33-year-old suspect is in custody. The 36-year-old victim sustained life-threatening injuries but is no longer in critical condition.
Apolda/Eckartsberga, 05.07.2026 – Early Sunday morning, a multi-kilometer police chase on the B87 ended in a serious collision with a tree. The fleeing driver was under the influence of drugs, unlicensed, and driving with stolen license plates.
A nighttime special operation in Ernst-Thälmann-Straße in Apolda led to a large-scale deployment of emergency and police forces on Wednesday night. A man armed with knives in a state of psychological distress was overpowered by special forces from the Thuringian Landeskriminalamt (LKA) after approximately one hour.
A walk in Niederroßlaer Straße in Apolda ended for a 62-year-old dog owner on Friday afternoon with a painful bite wound in the arm. Following a violent altercation between two dogs, the police are now investigating.
