Hainchen/Schkölen, July 14, 2026 – Following a traffic accident on Monday afternoon on the country road between Hainchen and Schkölen, the police are urgently seeking witnesses. A 13-year-old child was struck by an overtaking trailer, after which the driver fled the scene without authorization.
Bremsnitz, July 13, 2026 – Following a hit-and-run incident on Sunday evening in Bremsnitz, police were able to quickly identify a 38-year-old suspect thanks to attentive witnesses. The man was heavily intoxicated and operating an uninsured electric bicycle that required a driver’s license.
Apolda/Teufelstal (08.07.2026) – A circus semi-trailer truck struck a traffic light system in the Apolda city area and subsequently fled the scene. The heavy vehicle was only stopped on the Autobahn 4.
Apolda/Teufelstal, July 7, 2026 – Following an accident at an intersection in Apolda, a semi-truck fled via the Bundesstraße 87 and the Autobahn 4 on Monday. Police were eventually able to stop the vehicle at the Teufelstal rest area and have initiated an investigation for hit-and-run.
Following a collision between a cyclist and a pedestrian on Engelplatz late Thursday evening, the Jena police are urgently seeking witnesses. The cyclist responsible for the accident fled the scene illegally, while the pedestrian had to be taken to the hospital with a head injury.
On Friday afternoon, a traffic accident occurred in the city center of Weimar, in which a cyclist suffered head injuries. The driver initially fled the scene but was apprehended shortly thereafter by police officers.
Nausnitz/Bürgel, May 24, 2026. Following a collision at a road intersection near Nausnitz, police are searching for a driver who fled the scene. Distinctive vehicle parts were left at the accident site and are now the focus of the investigation.
Bürgel/Nausnitz, May 22, 2026 – Following a collision at a busy intersection near Nausnitz, police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who left behind a field of debris early Thursday morning. Vehicle parts found at the scene indicate that the vehicle involved was a Citroën.
Neckeroda, May 14, 2026. An unknown driver damaged a property wall while turning in Neckeroda on Wednesday evening and subsequently fled the scene. Police are now seeking witnesses to the incident.
On Friday morning, a parked Tesla was significantly damaged in a hit-and-run accident in the center of Stadtroda. The unknown driver fled the scene without reporting the damage.
