The summer season in Jena is casting its first shadows ahead: The Jenaer Bädergesellschaft invites you to the first “FeierAbend” at the Strandschleicher in early May. Visitors can expect a relaxed start to the warm season directly at the Schleichersee with culinary and musical accompaniment.
Around 800 people took part in the rescheduled New Year’s swim in Jena’s Schleichersee on Sunday, enjoying spring-like air and fresh water.
The New Year’s swim in Jena’s Südbad, originally planned for the turn of the year, will be held this coming weekend after the Schleichersee was covered in a thick layer of ice for weeks.
