Schöngleina/Jena (July 12, 2026) – Two 28-year-old riders were seriously injured in a severe collision between two motorcycles on the country road near Schöngleina on Friday evening. Both men were transported to nearby hospitals.
On Monday morning, a motorcyclist went off the road and crashed into a ditch on the L1077 near Schlöben/Gernewitz. Thanks to the quick intervention of first responders, the rider suffered only minor injuries.
A 23-year-old motorcyclist sustained serious injuries following a head-on collision on the Kreisstraße 523 between Bundesstraße 175 and Zschorta on Wednesday afternoon. He was transported to the Universitätsklinikum Jena for intensive care.
A motorcyclist was injured in a collision with a car on Landstraße 1077 near Wolfersdorf. The driver fled the scene, leaving the victim behind to be transported to the Uniklinikum Jena.
A 45-year-old motorcyclist suffered extremely serious injuries in a traffic accident on the B85 on Sunday afternoon. After losing control of his vehicle, he had to be flown to a clinic by rescue helicopter.
