Record Participation at the 19th SaalePutz: Over 500 Volunteers Clear River Floodplain of Trash
With more than 500 volunteers, the annual “SaalePutz” environmental campaign in Jena achieved record participation this year. Participants cleared the banks and waters of the Saale of waste, while a new scientific program allowed citizens to investigate water quality.
