Jena, 13.08.2026 – The new family program “The Enchanted Reef” is launching at the Zeiss-Planetarium Jena. The show is aimed at young visitors and combines entertainment with educational content.
With more than 500 volunteers, the annual “SaalePutz” environmental campaign in Jena achieved record participation this year. Participants cleared the banks and waters of the Saale of waste, while a new scientific program allowed citizens to investigate water quality.
On March 21, 2026, the city of Jena and the Bürgerstiftung Jena invite citizens and students to the annual SaalePUTZ to clean the banks of the Saale from waste and plastic.
