Jena, July 31, 2026 – Motorists on the A4 should expect traffic disruptions at the Hermsdorfer Kreuz next week. Due to inspection work, the connection from the A4 coming from the direction of Dresden to the A9 in the direction of Berlin will be closed.
The City of Jena has published its construction site report for the 32nd calendar week (August 3 to August 9, 2026). New full road closures are being implemented across the city, while several long-term major projects continue to affect key commuter routes.
